Have your students practice the conditional using an authentic source from a Spanish speaking country. In this case, a poem written by Jorge Luis Borges from Argentina.
I used this activity as a warm-up before reading "Borges y yo" to help students become familiar with his work. Also, to practice the conditional tense for the AP Spanish Language exam and the unit titled "Identidades personales y públicas".
You will also get to see student's private identity by having them share their desires for things they wish they could do if they lived once again.
