How can I use this product?
I included enough colorful visuals for an entire Writers Workshop bulletin board. It's what I have up in my classroom! I included the steps of the writing process so students can use a clothespin to show me where they are in their process. I use the same method with the "Writing Goals." Students pick a goal that they want to work on and then when we edit their papers, that is their main focus. Once they've mastered one thing, they pick another one. I've found that this helps students not be overwhelmed, and celebrate their learning!
The writing prompts are perfect for those kids who whine, "I don't have anything to write about!" I put them in a bin and they get to fish one out.
I included fancy publishing paper because my kiddos LOVE to use those. I have different formats for kids who need different things.
How is this product different from the other TPT products?
Everything in this pack was used by my students and I edited and redid things until I saw that they were exactly what my students (both below grade level and above) needed.
