This is a pack of my top 6 "go to" graphic organizers that I use in the classroom on a weekly basis. They are suitable for grades 3-8. They have an owl theme from Scrappin Doodles that is age appropriate and copier friendly. These organizers align with the CCSS for ELA.
Writer's Workshop Organizers:
Story Mountain: great for students to construct a story with: background, rising action, problem, resolution, and ending.
Timeline-can be great for laying out ideas, even sketching
Storyboard: a friendly layout for those who need to sketch as they write.
Boxes and Bullets: essential for students to organize their writing-especially non fiction
Reader's Workshop Organizers:
Thinkmark: good for homework for students to record a thought, connection, question, vocab word while reading.
Story Map: Can be used for writer's workshop too. Let's students organize thoughts for a story
I can bet you that you will use these organizers over and over again during the year. I have stacks copied as a resource for students to use when needed.
