Product Description
This detailed unit booklet will allow you to successfully introduce and teach students how to write adventure stories. The first part of the unit is devoted to understanding what adventure narratives are. Suggestions for mentor texts are included along with whole class or small group activities for students to complete as they learn about the elements. Classroom posters have also been included to support students.

Once students understand about adventure stories, it's time to write. The second half of the unit allows students to plan out and create their own adventure. A teacher checklist is included at the end to assess and provide feedback on the final story.
