Included in this PDF are 25 task cards, an answer sheet for students to record responses, and an answer key.
Each task card features two guide words that would be found at the top of a dictionary page, as well as three words underneath. Students will either be asked to identify which word WOULD be found on that page or identify which word WOULD NOT belong on that page. They must then write their answer in the corresponding box on the answer sheet.
From personal experience in my classroom, I've found that the skill of alphabetizing is something we assume students know how to do by middle school, but they often struggle with it. These cards can be a fun way for students to brush up on their alphabetizing skills.
Thanks for looking!
