This resource breaks down how to write biographies in classroom music. It is aimed at an upper school classroom but can easily be adapted to suit middle school students.
The sample biography is for the classical composer Mussorgsky, but the focus is on how a biography is put together, not the specific person or era/genre they represent. I used this resource whilst teaching Electronica and it worked fine!
This resource includes:
ONE sample annotated biography
ONE detailed description of content to be included in the biography
ONE biography writing template
ONE marking key
