5-8: These pages are similar to the previous pages; however, they are differentiated to provide students more space to write extra details between the transition words when they are developmentally ready.
9: Students can use this Graphic Organizer to brainstorm adjectives using all five sensory details. Visuals are provided for the five senses including sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch.
10: Here are example sentence-starter choices for topic sentences, a list of possible transition words, and possible conclusions. This is a helpful handout for students to have with their writing resources to refer to often while writing in the classroom.
11-12: Cherry Pie Writing Prompt. This activity includes a visual picture of a cherry pie, sentence frames for the introduction, transition words, and the conclusion sentence. An example is also provided.
13: Pumpkin Pie Writing Prompt. This activity includes a visual picture of a pumpkin pie, sentence frames for the introduction, transition words, and the conclusion sentence.
