Get your students writing daily with these fun monthly writing calendars AND menus! If using for 1st grade, I recommend this be something you do together. This writing bundle includes writing calendars for the ENTIRE YEAR, months of August through July. Each calendar has a prompt for each day of the week. Most prompts relate to that specific month, holidays, national daily holidays, etc.

In order to make this product adaptable for all teachers, I have made this product EDITABLE! Please read through each of your calendars before you print, as some prompts you may want to edit to include personalized information and important dates. You may also need to edit to show days you have off of school, holiday breaks, etc., as the editing of the calendars in this document may not fit your school schedule.

Tip: Print the calendar writing pages, cut around the edges, and have students glue them into a notebook. Have students use their calendar writing notebook daily to respond to each daily writing prompt.
