Writing Center: Creative Writing Prompts and Story Starters
Does your writing center need some fresh ideas? Here are three fun writing center activities your students will love!
Center 1: Pick 5
In this center, students pick 5 word cards and use those 5 words to create a story. This is an easy way to get students to use new words in their writing! A colorful poster with directions for the activity is included for posting at the writing center. Also included is a prewriting planning worksheet.
Center 2: Parts of a Story

Center 3: What If?
