I used this to teach my students the different parts of each check.
They first had to locate the total bill amount then put the correct check parts on a blank check- either by velcroing or gluing. Checks are larger than average to help students who need larger sizes- especially for students with large handwriting.
After my students learned each part of the check, they then had to write the parts if they were able to do so. The larger checks made it much easier for students with poor fine motor skills.
12 billing statements total- ranging from paying rent to clothes to auto repairs
Students can use billing statements to put parts on the check.
There are also 2 extra checks at the end of the activity.
