Choice Boards are a great way to put students in control of their own writing. Each board is set up like a Tic-Tac-Toe board. Students can choose three activities in a row to use for writing. I have even included a writing activity for math! All boards are in color and in black and white. Here are a few other ways these Choice Boards can be used:
Cut cards apart and display one a day on the document
camera/overhead for morning journal writing.
Cut the cards apart and let students draw from a
container to see what they are going to write about today.
These Choice Boards make excellent emergency sub plans.
