Quickly note down important information documenting writing conferences with your students. This organized record allows you to keep track of conferences, as well as stay on track during them!
You fill in the date and the writing piece he/she is working on. Circle where the student is in the writing process. There is a checklist for the type of writing conference you have, namely what you do during it. There is also a space to make notes of what you say/do and the student's "next steps" after your conference.
