I am constantly meeting with students throughout the writing process. I found that I often was scrambling to find a place to jot down quick notes for students as I verbally gave them feedback on their writing. I made this simply designed half-sheet feedback form to make the process a bit easier.
There is a section for:
-feedback on what went well (labeled More of This)
-feedback on what needs improvement (labeled Less of This)
There are five bullet points for each section. There are also two versions of the form. One document is labeled Writing Conferences: Feedback Form for when you meet with students one-on-one and the other document is labeled Writing: Feedback Form which can simply be attached to the students' writing if you don't have time to individually meet with them during class.
This is a great way to quickly provide feedback to your students. Happy teaching!
