Product Description
This product is for fourth, fifth and sixth grade teachers to practice writing numbers in four forms; standard form, word form and expanded form and expanded form with multiplication. In forth grade, students are expected to be able to write numbers in three forms (standard form, word form and expanded form). By fifth grade students need to be able to take expanded form one step further by writing a decimal in expanded form with multiplication. This set of guiding notes allows students to see the difference between expanded form and expanded form with multiplication.

There are 6 task cards included along with an answer key!!! The task cards have a mix of fractions and decimals used to reinforce the equivalence between fractions and decimals.

You can use this product with the whole class, math centers, partners, independent work or even review at math centers. I personally use this product as guiding notes and independent work time.

I hope you enjoy!!!
