Teach your students how to write dialogue using candy conversation hearts!
Two characters will have a conversation based on what the candy hearts say. They can use the spinner to determine the characters of the conversation or choose the characters themselves.
This packet includes differentiation where students can use the conversation hearts book that is attached (just print as many of the page you would like to use), using a page for each conversation, use the dialogue as a comic and create a comic strip using the same characters throughout the entire strip and changing the words on the hearts each time or use the conversation paper between two characters. You can give students a set amount of conversation hearts to use or let them use as many as they can. Students can physically glue the conversation hearts into the speech bubbles /sentences or use the paper versions and allow them to eat the candy as a treat.
