Description

Tired of the same old task cards? Are you trying a new blended classroom? Need help integrating technology into math? May be your school is moving to one-to-one devices... Here is a chance to integrate technology and still provide a rigorous problem solving activity!

This download comes with directions on how to take my interactive lesson (which is shared via a link in the directions) and share it with your students. This lesson can be shared on Google Classroom or you can share it as a link on classroom websites such as Edmodo.

The interactive lesson is on Google Slides. Students can improve computer skills while being fully engaged in the math lesson. No copies or paper needed!

The lesson contains 11 slides and many problem solving experiences.

Slide 1- Title, students put their names

Slide 2-3 Match an equation to a word problem (4 problems)

Slide 4- Focus on Expressions- Match the numeric expression to the written

Slide 5-8 Create your own equation- Students will be given a word problem. Students will then create an equation to match the word problem. A hint is hidden in the slide for students who need help.

Slide 9-10- Test Prep- multiple choice questions and explain your thinking.

Slide 11- Ending and how to share with your teacher

I also include another link for an answer key. This would be perfect as a partner activity, independent activity, enrichment, or review before STAAR!
