The Writing Equations from Tables and Points Puzzle - PP was created for use in an Algebra 1 classroom. Students can practice writing equations given two points or given a table. This puzzle can be worked with or without a graphing calculator.
Cut out cards on pages 2-10. Page 11 shows what the final product should look like. Use the large letters or numbers in the middle of the card to quickly check or grade the puzzle.
Cards 2-10 can be printed out as they are to create a group-sized puzzle. If printed 2 to a page, or 4 to a page, they are more of a personal puzzle.
This puzzle can be used as a cooperative learning activity for a group of students, a personal puzzle at a math center or station, a practice puzzle glued in an interactive notebook, or as a continuous practice puzzle stored in an envelope or a baggie in an interactive notebook or at a station. Laminate for continued use year after year.
