This foldable includes 10 examples of writing linear equations from one point and slope or two points. 5 examples ask students to find the equation from 1 point and slope, and 5 examples of writing linear equations from 2 points. Additionally, the foldable has step-by-step instructions to reference in case students need to job their memory later on. This foldable is perfect for a standalone lesson on these special case lines but also makes a great review, stations activity, or homework assignment!
Throughout the foldable, problems that include simplifying double signs (2-(-3)=5, for example) have been included since these are common stuck-points for students. Additionally, two versions of this foldable
have been included, with two separate methods to choose from
Students substitute the given information into the Point-Slope Formula
Students substitute the given information into the Slope-Intercept Formula
