This is a one-sided notes page on writing equations of lines only in y = mx + b format. The page begins with a clarifier of how to write an equation of a line, what the equation will look like (y = mx + b) and what two pieces of information you will need to know to write the equation (slope & y-intercept).
10 examples follow after that and include writing the equation of a line given its slope and y-intercept, 2 points on the line, a graph of the line, a table of values of the line or a description of the line such as "the line is vertical and passes through (3, 4). Key included.
