Students practice writing equations in slope-intercept form. Instead of just sitting at their seats doing a worksheet, they can be up moving around the room! This self-checking scavenger hunt consists of 10 problems that require students to write a linear equation.
Post the pages around your room in a random order. The students may start on any letter they choose. They first solve the problem on the top of the page. Then, they are to find the answer to their problem on the bottom of another page. They then solve the problem on the top of that page. They continue around the room until they return to the first page where they started their scavenger hunt. Starting with the “D" page the slides spell DEPURATING when solved in the correct order. Problems include writing equations given slope and one point, given two points, and writing equations parallel and perpendicular to a given line through a given point. There are a few fractions as well. Enjoy!
