Product Description
This cut and paste activity covers writing basic equations of lines given a point and the slope or given two points. It also covers writing equations of perpendicular and parallel lines given lines in slope intercept form and a point or given a line in standard form and a point. Lastly, it requires students to write equations of parallel/perpendicular lines given two points and having the new line go through the midpoint of the original two points. This is a multi-step problems typical of a Common Core exam.

After working out the 12 problems, students cut out the “problem boxes” and glue them down over the answer on their Native American headdress. This activity is perfect to use around Thanksgiving or if your school mascot is a Native American. I printed the Native American head dresses and problems on different colored paper so it made a nice presentation to put on my bulletin board!
