This is a one-sided practice page aimed at solving quadratics in applied situations and writing equations of quadratics. There are 7 questions.
Specifically, the first question asks the student to write the equation of a quadratic given its zeros. Question #2 tells about a student who was solving a quadratic by factoring. The question asks what should the student do next?
Question #3 gives the student a pentagon with algebraic side lengths, the perimeter of the pentagon and asks the student to solve for x. Question #4 gives the student a graph and asks them to write a possible equation for the quadratic.
Question #5 gives the student a table of values and asks them to identify the roots. Question #6 gives the student an equation in factored form and asks the student to identify the zeros. Finally, question #7 asks the student how many real solutions the quadratic equation has. Key included.
