OVERVIEW:

These 30 task cards were created to help students apply, practice, and review decomposing fractions into sums. In order to correctly answer the problems included, students will need to be able to decompose a fraction into unit fractions and decompose a fraction in three different ways.

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

30 Task Cards: These task cards come four to a page and will have students solving three different problem types. The first fifteen cards ask students to decompose the given fraction into a sum of unit fractions. The last fifteen cards ask students to decompose the given fraction into three different ways.

3 Task Card Options: Within this resource, you will find a black and white version of the task cards, a colored version, and a Google Slides version.

2 Recording Sheet Options & Answer Key: Within this resource, you will find a paper and digital version of the recording as well as the answer key (for problems #1-15, 16-30 will vary).
