TWO versions included: Chalkboard style & ink-friendly style!
Writing goals match the Lucy Calkins' Units of Study checklist for Grade 4/Unit 2: Opinion Writing.
FIFTEEN goals in all: Most goals are written in future tense to give students confidence to explore grade-specific writing elements and take risks. As you progress through Calkins’ lessons and students demonstrate proficiency, clips/clothespins move closer to the OVERALL goal. Each Unit of Study culminates with some sort of writing celebration—therefore, the final chart is labeled “SUCCESS!”, and is written in past tense to give students additional satisfaction at the point of completion.
Ready to print, or change settings to print multiple pages per sheet for a space-saving option.
