There are so many wonderful literary Graphic Novels out there. There are a lot of "how to draw" books too, but very little on how to teach students how to write a story with "sequential art."
Try out these handouts if your students need a fun new way to write--with comics!
In this part we continue working on unique Graphic Story skills, namely dialogue, lettering, and controlling the reader's eye around the page.
These lessons pair wonderfully with reading any great graphic novel. Contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you want some suggestions of graphic novels I enjoy teaching.
Please enjoy these handouts and check out the rest of the unit as well!
