Use the 48 graphics of nouns, 48 graphics of verbs, and 48 graphics of places (to be used as prepositional phrases) to create silly sentences. Copy the nouns on pink paper, the verbs on green, and the prepositions on blue. Each graphic is labeled so students can choose 1 pink, 1 green, and 1 blue graphic to build their silly sentence. The list of "fill in" words (articles & prepositions) will help your students to write a complete sentence about the graphics they chose. There are enough graphics to do one each day for for 48 school days! Your students will LOVE the silly sentences they can create with these cute graphics.
For pre-K, I recommend using this to to help students compose a complete sentence verbally. They pick their 3 colored cards and tell you a sentence made from those cards. You may write it with a highlighter for them to trace to more advanced students may attempt to write it by copying the cards & filling in "other words" with your help. Hope this helps. Children can learn so much by developing oral language skills as a foundation to emergent writing. :)
