Writing Journals - A Year Long Bundle of Writing for Specific Genres

This is a zip folder of 5 E-Books, each with a clickable link Table of Contents. Each E-book will give your students a 9 week writing journal focusing on a different genre.

You will be able to go through the entire writing process or brainstorming, organizing, drafting, revising and editing for nine different writing prompts for each genre. Then, students will choose a prize piece to publish. This allows students to get in depth practice into each of the 5 genres, while getting teacher commentary all along the process.

Each writing prompt includes: a brainstorming map, an outline, drafting pages, a revising checklist, an editing checklists and a grading rubric. There is also a comprehensive Writing Score Report for each journal.

Print each journal for each student, bind or place in a three ring binder and you have your entire nine weeks of writing covered.

The writing journals included are: narrative, persuasive, informational, poetry and response to literature.
