This foldable is meant to be used as an introduction/review of writing linear equations in slope-intercept form. Students start off with a quick review of what a linear equation is and how it is graphed, then writing the equation of a vertical or horizontal line when given the point it passes through. Students will then walk through how to write the equation when given point and y-intercept, point and slope, and two points. Two examples are given for each method. Since I used this for a review for my MMA group, when given two points I have students use the linear regression option in the calculator. You can easily white-out/cover up these instructions and have students go through the process of calculating the slope, plugging in to point-slope, and solving for y.
