In this activity, students make connections between the slope-intercept form of a linear equation and the equation's graph. Students make that connection by evaluating linear equations at different values for x, then plot the points, and connect the points to make the graph. Students are asked to compare the coefficient and constant of the equation with the graph to see the connections.
I personally have successfully used this worksheet for a remedial Algebra class. This activity is editable, so equations can be re-written to increase or decrease the level of complexity.
