Writing Linear Equations from Table Models With Guidance
Are your students having difficulty writing linear equations from table models for linear functions? My Writing Linear Equations from Table Models With Guidance is just what you need. I included worked out solutions so there is not prep for you! This format has helped my students synthesize the process and make them fluent at writing linear equations for table models! It is the best strategy I have tried!
Your students will use the slope formula and the point-slope form of the equation to write the equation of the line in slope-intercept form using the x and y values in the table models. This guided learning requires students to go through each step and carefully substituting the correct values into the formulas. I included 20 guided learning problems to help them become proficient at writing equations for linear functions from table models.
