This is a 20 page resource for upper-elementary students. Mini-offices are a type of lapbook for students. You put file folders together and glue resources that students commonly need to reference. I love to use these with my students! At the beginning of the year, I am finding these to be EXTREMELY beneficial as a resource and teaching tool for my students. I am not being asked repeatedly for how to do things and students are more independent. As I introduce one of the skills, we glue the resource onto their mini office. Students are also adding their own notes to their 'offices'. It is really cool! I feel that it gives them independence and helps them learn problem solving skills. I have searched all over to find resources for upper elementary students, and finally decided to just make my own. Mini-offices are used a lot in primary grades, but I have found that they are just as helpful in intermediate grades. These can also be used as a resource for gluing into Writer's Notebooks.
