In my experience teaching I’ve learned that beginner writers benefit from using visual graphic organizers. They can be used to help students remember what to include in their story as well as how to organize it. The first graphic organizer helps students brainstorm the key elements for their story, while the second helps them further plan the sequence of events in their story. You can print these organizers back to back to use together, or single sided to be used as needed.
