Description
After many years of cutting out my rubrics and stapling them on to finished writing samples, I realized I could embed them into my actual writing template which will save lots of time, not to mention trees!
I included templates with primary lines as well as regular lines for older students. Please look through the preview to get an in-depth look at this resource.
I included my rubric as a sample. Our district uses the FAME rating scale which is what I used on my rubric. I made the templates editable so you are free to type anything into your rubrics to fit your needs.

Tips:
I like to copy the templates back-to-back so that proficient writers can continue their writing on the back. For those of you that may want to have the rubric hidden on the back, I included pages set up that way too!
