Writing Process Rings are a great tool for student writing! Using these simple cards on a book ring, students can see and understand what to do next with their writing. Make one for each student in your class, and use it throughout the year as an invaluable reference!
The cards on the ring list the steps of the writing process in order so that students know the formal vocabulary for the writing process. In addition, each step is defined in kid-friendly terms. As the students write, they simply place their Writing Process rings on their desks and turn to the step that they were working on. Teachers can easily see what step of their writing kids are working on with just a glance!
Easy to put together, and these made a big difference! Templates are formatted so that all of the cards are the same size—simply cut, hole punch, and assemble. There are 8 cards per page to make multiple rings easy to copy.
