This wonderful calendar can be used as a writing center, morning work, monthly homework assignment or even extra credit! There are no dates on the calendar so that you can use it year after year. The writing calendars allow students to think outside of the box and stretch their creativity while completing each prompt.
Some of the prompts included ask students to write an expository, narrative or persuasive story, create a poem or mini-book report, use reading skills while completing graphic organizers, cross-curriculum writing, AND SO MUCH MORE! Included in the pack are two different designs for the calendar and a black and white copy of one of the designs. Although you have two different choices in design option, the prompts are the same on both calendars.
