Writing Prompts End of the Year
This is a collection of 3 weeks' worth (15 total) of writing prompts that can be used in lessons with upper elementary, middle, and high school students. These writing prompts encourage self-reflection and a greater level of interpersonal and intrapersonal awareness, social/emotional intelligence, and growth among students. Writing topics include growth, reflection, conclusions/endings (in literature, life, and the school year), and lessons learned, among others. I've included blank pages after each writing prompt in case you want to print this out and use the writing prompts in a journal format, but you can also display each writing prompt in Power Point format if students already have their own writing journals. These writing prompts are excellent for use in the classroom during journal writing time for teachers and in small-group and classroom guidance lessons for counselors.
