Learning Objective

Students will write personal narratives, explanatory texts, and opinion pieces using correct grammar, spelling, with support. TLW write a strong introduction and use temporal words to signal event order, and provide a sense of closure.

You will never have to scramble for another writing prompt again with this year long bundle of engaging writing topics. Your students will respond to a variety of writing genres including: personal narratives, opinion writing prompts, explanatory writing prompts, and informative writing prompts. Each month's set of writing prompts were designed with a specific border that aligns with that month's holiday or seasonal theme making it easy to track and measure your students' growth throughout the year.

THOUSANDS of teachers (in a variety of grade levels) own my differentiated, year long Writing and Word Work Bundle. This download includes three separate packets to guarantee the width of the writing lines are appropriate for lower and upper elementary students. Some teachers have asked, "How does this writing bundle work for both kindergarten and fourth grade?". My response is, "Teachers simply align their grade level's writing standards to the writing prompts, and it works beautifully." Because of this bundle's popularity, I have also created this bundle for teachers in Canada and a Spanish version for bilingual and ELL/ESL teachers!
