Product Description
August, September, and October have been updated for the 2017-2018 school year!

Coming up with "What to Write About" can be hard! I struggle with this too as a teacher. We want our writing to be meaningful, but we also want the kids to enjoy the topic.

I have provided a BUNDLE of Writing Prompts for the entire year!

Months Included:

•August
•September
•October
•November
•December
•January
•February
•March
•April
•May

This bundle of writing prompts includes 445 pages of writing prompts! It also includes a calendar for the teacher (and one for student journals) with a short version of the prompt in each calendar square.

The prompts are written as teacher letters to the students. Simply have the student glue the calendar into their journals and place the correct prompt (that matches the date) on the overhead, document camera, or projector. The students will read the prompt and begin writing in their journals.

These are life savers for morning work! Students can come in each morning and have a topic to write about.

Each topic corresponds with the special event for that calendar day. (For example: National Pancake Day, Johnny Appleseed Day, etc.)

The students will be chatting about these topics all throughout the day, they allow great opportunities for building classroom community by sharing out, and will build writing skills!

Prompts include many different skills such as poetry, procedural, expository, letter writing and narrative writing.

Each prompt also comes in two fonts (a cursive for the older kids and a manuscript for the younger kids.) These prompts are suitable for grades 3rd-5th!

These are by far the easiest "Print and Go" writing prompts you will find!

If you are still curious, here is a Video Example with a free sample!

I hope you enjoy! Please e-mail me with any questions you may have prior to purchasing! (Hillary3986@gmail.com)
