These are great prompts for any work of literature you may be reading in your classroom.
I recommend them for high school and up, because students will need to formulate original thesis statements based on the prompt they choose.
There are two pages of prompts:
+The first is a selection of five detailed prompts that look at women in the work, a false sense of reality, the protagonist, the antagonist, and cultures & traditions. These prompts are more guided, and include specific suggestions for writing
+The second is a collection of 30 very brief prompts meant for more advanced students. For example, “discuss the use of humor or satire in relation to a theme.” These would also be great for in-class essays
