Product Description
These are great prompts for any work of literature you may be reading in your classroom.

I recommend them for high school and up, because students will need to formulate original thesis statements based on the prompt they choose.

There are two pages of prompts:
+The first is a selection of five detailed prompts that look at women in the work, a false sense of reality, the protagonist, the antagonist, and cultures & traditions. These prompts are more guided, and include specific suggestions for writing

+The second is a collection of 30 very brief prompts meant for more advanced students. For example, “discuss the use of humor or satire in relation to a theme.” These would also be great for in-class essays

I have also included a one-page MLA guide with sample formatting and specifications for students.

Thank you,
Teacher in the Rye
