PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This set of writing and history prompts can be used for grades 6-8 and SPED classes . Everything you need to get you through the winter months of January, and February.

Included are narrative, persuasive, descriptive and expository writing prompts created with seasonal and holiday themes.

For January, there are activities to honor Martin Luther King Jr. Your students will be able to practice writing a timeline by using notes about MLK and writing an essay from the Brief History of Dr. King.

February begins with Groundhog Day, Valentine Day, then Presidents' Day. So a brief history of how each holiday came about, story starter task cards, comprehension questions, timelines, graphic organizers, proofreading ideas, colorful final draft sheets, grading rubric are all a part of this package.
