Picture prompted writing engages students in their writing in a way nothing else can! Fourth through seventh-grade science and language arts students will welcome these writing prompts and have a blast responding to them with their prior knowledge and their own creative touch. Visual learners will be engaged as they view the picture, read the informative details and respond to the related writing prompt.
This set is specific to CITIES. It has a total of eight prompts in two different formats. Each format can be used individually or combined together. These writing activities can be combined with additional research options or as stand-alone activities. Teachers can print the information sheets once and use them for years. The information sheets are also helpful to display on the screen while students work on their writing sheets. Included in preview and in the paid bundle are instructions on how this tool can be implemented in the classroom.
