With Punctuation Practice, students will read the sentences and choose between two or three different marks ( . and ? / . and ! / and . ? ! ) depending on the page. Then students will rewrite each sentence using the correct punctuation.
As an enrichment/ extension, students flip their papers over to the back and create their own sentences using the correct punctuation. I ask my students to do two of each different punctuation, except when they are writing all three on the back.
