Teacher writing rubric - One includes examples while the other includes examples and descriptions (3 different formats). The rubric assess 9 different areas of Kindergarten writing: handwriting, usage of upper/lowercase letters, spacing, punctuation, sight words, spelling, illustration, coloring, and content. Each category is scored on a scale of 0-3.
0 = unsatisfactory
1 = progressing/needs improvement
2 = satisfactory
