This is a comprehensive unit for Kindergarten and First grade for beginning writers on the mechanics of writing a sentence. Every Sentence begins with a capital letter, there is space between words, and a statement ends with a period. In addition, there is a poster included that is suitable for printing on 11*17 paper. I have another unit that focuses on statements, questions, and exclamations. This unit is suited for the second half of kindergarten when students are writing independently or the beginning of first grade as review.
