Get your students writing sentences in a fun, engaging way! Practice expressing what people would do in different situations or under certain circumstances. Includes a mix of irregular verbs like poner, saber, venir, salir, hacer, decir, etc.
Students roll 2 dice (or one two times) and use the numbers to determine what they must include in their sentences. In this set, one will determine the subject and the other will determine the verb. Students will conjugate the verb and add more information to finish the sentence in a creative way.
There are 4 different versions!
Pages 1 and 2: have different sets of subjects/verbs
Page 3: Teacher, Class, or Pairs (you decide) choose the subject and verb choices
Page 4: Subject/Verb choices are blank again for you to decide who chooses them, but the difference is that there are already numbers given with which to create sentences (so there is no need for dice).
*I like to give them a minimum number of words they must have (will differ depending on level) or tell them what pieces of information they must have (w/whom, where, when, why, etc.) If I want to make it last longer, I will gradually add more. For example, first they just need to include where. After a bit, they must include where and when. Then, I'll say they have to include where, when, and why, etc.
