PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Ending a story is just as important as beginning a story. This Smartboard lesson will show students how to create meaningful story endings. First, a slide shows models and examples of endings that "should NOT be used" so students know up front what is NOT acceptable. All other slides include models and examples of different ending types that authors use in their own writing. The last slide models "extended" story endings (this can be a model for guided practice or independent practice). This is a great lesson when teaching narrative/speculative writing.
