These Writing Practice Word Picture cards are suited for a Writing Center in an early learning classroom. You can laminate them, cut them on the provided black lines, and provide dry erase markers to make them reusable. You could also print sets for each child, and make them available for children to work on as early finish activities. You could also go as far as keeping a record of the cards, and include them in the child’s portfolio to observe the progression of their fine motor skills.
This set features 105 CVC words (25 Middle A, 18 Middle E, 25 Middle I, 19 Middle O, and 18 Middle U).
These cards are not tracing cards, they are designed for the child to identify a word based on its picture, look at the letters, and write each word freehand. After writing, children can be encouraged to describe the process they used to write each letter.
