Writing Tasks with Real Life Connections
These writing tasks can be linked to any curriculum area including English, Social Studies, Geography etc.
Younger students can be directed more with ideas, whilst students in older grades can use it as a resource guide and assist with their writing.
This resource has been created to provide students with prompts for independent writing. It gives examples that relate to real life connections and make the experience more meaningful.
It also includes a page for students to record their writing, to keep track of the range of genres they are using and ensure they are producing a variety or styles.
