PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

When a student misbehaves in my classroom (rarely, haha yea right), they are immediately prompted to the misbehavior center. This consists of a desk away from the other students where they can reflect on their misconduct. They are then prompted to write about their misbehavior through a series of misbehavior compositions.

This packet offers a chance for students to read a paragraph modeling proper behavior. It also gives them a chance to copy the paragraph onto copy paper that is already provided. Giving students the opportunity to explain themselves is also very important, as it allows them to have a voice in the matter. Maybe they feel their misbehavior is justified or they feel they are wrongly accused. Allowing them to write their reasoning will give them a chance to express their own feelings.
This printable has a set of 10 already written compositions to copy with individual copy paper and an “I can explain” writing paper for students with a deeper understanding of their misbehavior.

These are the prompts:
Talking During Class
Bullying
Cheating
Playing with Object
Talking Back
Not Turning In Homework
Misbehavior during Behavior
Not Lining Up Properly
Misbehavior in Computer Lab
Going to the Bathroom
