I use these labels when I am conferencing with students during writing workshop. I simply put their name, the date, the teaching point, and what we discussed that they need to work on before we meet again. I place a sheet of these labels on a clipboard and meet with multiple students. When I have time later, I take the labels and place them in my binder behind that student's divider. This eliminates the time it takes to flip through a binder while conferencing with a student trying to find their section.
